  Arrived into hotel after a long flight late at night with 2 young children. Nicole was so genuinely helpful and caring and got all our check-in smoothly done. All our tiredness & tension was alleviated and had a great nights sleep. Next morning at breakfast Karen took care of us brilliantly - nothing was too much bother. Convenient for airlines connection..about a 8 pound cabride (10 minutes) from airport. Restaurant generic, American style, very busy. Nothing else around (in an industrial park) so no other eating options. Check with attendant to make sure no groups are booked for dinner, otherwise no dinner for you!

I arrived after breakfast was served but Davy kindly made me an omelet, toast, and tea. Then he showed me the room that was intended to be mine, talking me through the amenities.   First of all, the location at Inverkeithing (20-30 mins) from Edinburgh waverly station by train maybe not very attractive for some, but for me I love it. This village is so quite and pretty, every body so friendly even at strangers like me. I got there by chance, but I'm grateful for it. Inglewoods B&B owned by the Huttons, I mostly interact... what people say » with Mr. Hutton (Andrew). He's not only very friendly and good cook (my mushrooms at breakfast always excellent), but also very nice and helpful. He - It's a great family run hotel in a very convenient location for a lot of places. The town center is only a 5 minute walk away as well. Word of warning though. People with disabilities may find the walk daunting as it's down a steep road, and up again the other side. It's easy to find as well and space to leave your car secure.

  We had a fabulous one night stay at The Chester Residence. Staff were very helpful and the suite was fantastic. All rooms were very spacious (we had the 1st floor suite) and the location was only about 5 minutes walk from Haymarket and Princes Street. This was our first stay in a serviced appartment and we would highly recommend a stay here, beats ... what people say » a stuffy hotel any day of the week! - The location was fairly close to the center of the city (20 minute walk). The neighborhood was quiet and clean. Flat screen tv with multiple satellite channels. Kitchen well stocked daily with breakfast/snack items. Reception/housekeeping more than helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone and return to this hotel without a doubt.
