  Nikki and Steve were amazing hosts --- they made us feel right at home! The location is perfect, right in the middle of Harpenden and close to anything you could possibly want. We even walked from the train station. The rooms were newly decorated, the beds and showers were amazing, having the pub downstairs was great for local flavor and relaxing,... what people say » and the breakfast was fantastic. Couldn't have asked for anything more!! - Immediate attention by friendly staff on arrival, We were part of a Christmas party booking staying overnight. Although busy our meals were all served together and the food was hot and extremely well presented. Our room was wonderful with everything we needed. My husband especially enjoyed the full english breakfast to next morning. Will definitely return and hopefully stay for longer to enjoy the town.

  I booked this hotel as my son was getting married and I needed a convenient base for the family. It worked out very well and the hotel staff were extremely helpful, friendly, pleasant and patient with us. The 2 bedroom apartment which is separate from the old part of the hotel is quite modern, very comfortable and well laid out with everything n... what people say » ecessary for a weekend stay - although you could easier stay there for a week or two. The rooms in the actual hotel are also comfortable and quite la - Enjoy the hundreds of years old wooden quirky White Hart for what it is. It is not a modern concrete square hotel. You will be pushed to find a flat floor upstairs as the oak beams have bowed with time. Very nice staff and helpful, always most busy. Nice selection of meals, cooked correctly and serviced well. Nice to visit again and again..

  This place is fantastic! A warm and cosy Traditionally styled Pub/Restaurant. There is ample parking right outside the entrance which we need for our enormous van.
