  Nikki and Steve were amazing hosts --- they made us feel right at home! The location is perfect, right in the middle of Harpenden and close to anything you could possibly want. We even walked from the train station. Couldn't have asked for anything more!! - Immediate attention by friendly staff on arrival, We were part of a Christmas party booking staying overnight. Although busy our meals were all served together and the food was hot and extremely well presented. Our room was wonderful with everything we needed. My husband especially enjoyed the full english breakfast to next morning. Will definitely return and hopefully stay for longer to enjoy the town.

It worked out very well and the hotel staff were extremely helpful, friendly, pleasant and patient with us.   This place is fantastic! A warm and cosy Traditionally styled Pub/Restaurant. There is ample parking right outside the entrance which we need for our enormous van. The Staff are 100% attentive and the service is quick too, the food and wine was particularly nice and at a reasonable price too. Beautiful 18th Century hotel, with fabulous hotel suites, designed for luxury and comfort. - The staff was very accomodating in providing assistance in booking aroom due to no reservation being received from LetsBookHotel.com.
