Nice and cosy hotel with an excellent location - only 5 minutes walk from the Istiklal Street and its numerous restaurants, cafes, shops and exchange offices and Taksim metro station.
Very friendly staff, especially Mr. Serkan, who helped us a lot with all kinds of things from transfer from the airport to finding the way to the nearest exhange office.
Stylish rooms.
Good price.
Definitely gonna recommend this place to people i know!

This is the friendliest hotel I ever stayed and its not surprise that guests return year after year. holidayed here for 5 days 29 April-3 May 2013 with my wife and 7 years son,and I can honestly say it is one best places I have ever stayed. owner was so friendly and helped us for finding address and sightseeing places. It was just located 5 minutes from taksim square and metro station. rooms were clean very comfortable and well equipped. internet was excellent and staff was always there to help. it was safe and totally I recommond everyone to stay there and enjoys some memorable days

I went to Taksim Ares for the 5 days of my honeymoon. It is the best
choice we did. The location is strategic, alhough in a residential area,
however it is very safe and friendly, feels like home. The manager Mr.
Housam talks English, Turkish and Arabic, he guided us all through our

Konak is within a short walk of the Istanbul Congress Centre as well as the subway, tram and Taksim Square. The staff were really helpful and there was usually someone around speaking English. Good breakfast and reasonable restaurant. Very nice bathrooms.

We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests.
