You can walk to cruise terminal, Sultanahmet, Ayasofya, Topkapi Palace, etc. There are many variety of restaurants in this area ranging from expensive to inexpensive. The Wifi is great. We felt very at home by staying in this hostel unlike other places where the owner tried to sell you tour packages. The room was very comfortable, clean, quiet and well equipped. Plus, it was very central to many of the important sights. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Considering what we paid for the room, we thought that this was one of the best deals in Istanbul.

  A lot of thanks to staff!!! a lot, a lot!!! You helped me so much! I really recommend this hostel. Excellent location in the centre of the city. Cheap price for a single tourist. No noise. People write they wake up because of prayers in the early mornings. I slept and heard nothing (I closed the window)! Reception 24 hours (I arrive at 6.30am and... what people say » could have a bath and breakfast). Good Internet. But you need to know it is really simple rooms!!! - I stayed for two nights and was on my own. The room was very small, about 2x2m2 but I didn't need it to be bigger. All I wanted was a place to sleep at night and leave my luggage during the day. There was a double bed in the room, with a very comfortable, hard mattress, a sink, a mirror and a TV. There was also very good wi-fi. It was quiet and clean. Centrally located, super cheap, friendly receptionist. Perfect for me.
