Maproom is in the zone of Tophane. It is a very nice place, you have
restaurants around. The hotel is 2 blocks from the tram that takes you
everywhere. You are between the old and modern part of Istanbul. All
this gives the hotel a perfect location!!! It is a very nice hotel, very
clean, and excellent for the price you pay!! Next to the hotel you have
a beautiful bar that gives you the breakfast that is included! We really

Great hotel! Great location for catching a cruise ship as it is very close to the port. Clean room. Is newly decorated and quite tastefully done. Free wifi that is fast. Great free breakfast in small restaurant below hotel. Incredible value for the money and highly recommended. Close to the tram stop which transports one to the main downtown area quite rapidly and economically.
Very clean hotel, new furniture, close to the metro station - 100 m; walk distance to Taksim, Galata; near to Modern galery, you could park to the galery parking - 20 TL per 24 h - with ticket sistem; the hotel is 3 minutes by foot from the parking walking near a line of nargile cafe shops. Close to the hotel are several tipical restorants.
Great location not in the middle of tourist attractions but where you can feel local and young atmosphere. At the same time just a short walk away from important places.
The room was very fresh and nice. Lots of small cafes and galleries nearby.
Convenient location, everything we needed in a walking distance: Galata tower, Istiklal street, Istanbul Modern, Ferryboat stations as well as the Metrobus station to get to the Airport. Great value for money. Highly recommend it.
Found the place by accident while strolling in Karaköy district. First I thought it was kind of a gallery but met the staff and told me it was a 6 room hotel. Good place and good venues around to have lunch and dinner as well.

Very new and young hotel, rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Location is good, 2mins from tramway which you can go airport and old city.
I liked the fact that I got treated like I was at a 5 star hotel. For the money I have paid I received much more then I was expecting.

It is difficult to find when you get to Istanbul. When you get there,
ask someone to give you directions to get to Tophane tram station. From
there you will only walk 2 blocks! Staff doesn't speak English. But
they manage to help you.
No body from the hotels around doesn't heard for this hotel. There are no signs to find the hotel. The streats lead to the hotel is very narrow - only for one car and is better to park somewhere and by foot go to the hotel; the brekfast is not good and the personal have to learn English more hours.
A bit too noisy but guess it's the same all around the city.
