We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Pera Capitol. The staff was always helpful and our room was very comfortable. The location of the hotel is steps away from Istiklal Avenue making it an easy walk away from a large choice of shopping and all evening dining-entertainment choices of Beyoglu district. The hotel is a very good choice if you would like to visit the museums, palaces, and historic sites during the day in other parts of Istanbul and have an enjoyable evening with lots of delicious di.

The location of the hotel is great, only one minute from Istiklal Street, and three minutes from the Tunel, Nostalgic Tram stop and Sishane Metro Station. staff were very helpful, kind and prompt. Breakfast was good enough and the rooms were quite clean. It was exactly what we have looked for. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful. It is a comfortable, very clean hotel that has a greatt location. It is central to tourism, shopping and participating in the Istanbul way of life using ferries, tram, and bus. A great experience. Very good location, English speaking staff, very friendly and helpful, good facilities, a lot of places to eat nearby, vibrant night life, easy access to the historical sites. In general good value for the money and very suitable for city trips. The hotel is very close to istiklal caddesi. Only the receptionist does .But this is general problem in Turkey.- noise from street during night. The room I got was small and windowless - not the sort of room you feel like coming back to. I suggest for single travellers to pay an extra 5 euros a night to get a double room here. They should definitely improve their breakfast menu. Internet not working in my room 603,Also the floor in my room was dirty need vacuum.also need to have heavy curtain for the window to stop the sun but still i recommend this hotel because of location and price. The hotel was very loud, lots of street noise, not a good pick if you actually want to get a night's sleep. Also, they automatically charged the card I had reserved the room with, but I wanted to use a different card to pay. For 40 Euros I expected better breakfast and more comfortable room.
