This is a great hotel for those who don't wish to spend a lot on hotel accommodations and still get a good value for their money. I was there for the last week of September 2013. The receptionist will no doubt let you feel right at home and will ensure you have a great experience during your stay. She is very knowledgeable about all of Turkey as she travel all over the country herself and will provide you with first class travel guidance on all that you want to see while in Turkey plus a lot mo.
all reviews » First of all, the location of the hotel is very good (five minutes away from Taksim square). The staff, morning shift there was a nice lady who speaks English and very helpful - night shift there was a nice guy who didn't know English but using the Internet Lobby connection and showing him pictures of what you want worked like a charm. I stayed in the fourth floor, so there was no noise at all. The room was always clean and it was safe, I could keep my things there without worrying about anythi. The location of the hotel is very convenient - close to Istiklal Street (a couple of minutes), Taksim Square (about 15 min.) and mass transport (tunnel and tram) that will bring you fast to the main sightseeings. Also I liked that the hotel is very clean. Cleaning is done every day. Staff is friendly, ready to help. Reception supports English language. Breakfast is simple, with traditional turkish elements - bread, a few types of cheese, olives. Moreover it's included in price. I thinks hotel . Everything was perfect! The position of the Hotel, the room completely new, the clean, Absolutly the best is the courtesy of the staff !!!. If you have to travel alone or with a couple this is a fantastic hotel. I was at the 4 flour, it's a little of sound of the street but all Istanbul is in that way, i just close the window and no more sound, they have air condition and worm too. I'm a women and travel alone at Istanbul, a safety city, perfect position to visit the new and the old part. The hotel is located a stone's throw away from Istiklai street - very good location, close to Taksim square. The Staff did not speak English but were nevertheless pleasant. Breakfast variety not overwhelming but there is enough food for a meal. Rooms are not big, but all clean (cleaned every day). It is a good value for the price. Elevator is nice to have after a long day of exploring Istanbul. There is a small supermarket opposite the hotel. The location is perfect; near to everything. Very clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definately would choose it again when in istanbul. Great value for money. Locatie is uitstekend, 2 minuten van de leukste straat van istanbul. Location is very good, 2 minutes walking to the best streets of istanbul. Friendly stuff it was the point maybe not best because of nightclub noise but I feel relax it was worth with that price. clean ,modern ,good location ,helpfull staff,affordable stating price ,an amazing hotel i recomed it. The staff members were friendly and helpful in most of the times. The only drawback was the outside noise at night as the hotel is close to a club but no matter where you book you hotel in Turkey you will have outside disturbance as the nightclubs are spread all over the cities and in close proximity to the hotels. My suggestion is to carry ear plus if this will be an issue for you. Once I put in my ear plugs everything was golden and I slept very well every night. The area of Istiklal Street is full of night clubs and bars working all night and playing loud music. So it's quite a noisy area. If you won't be dead tired in the evening after walking all day long around the city or you have some sleep disorders, it could be a problem. nothing everything was perfect. Even after reading the reviews stating it is very loud at night the noise levels were worse than expected. If you are tired after the day's experiences and provided you brought earplugs you can fall asleep. But the noise will last till 5am and at 7am they start cleaning the street with high pressure water cleaner washing all the bottles down the street. But we could sleep:) And to be fair we had been warned. Nothing. All is good. Er is in de avond harde muziek te horen door alle clubs en discotheken in de buurt. There is a little bit of noise at night because of the pubs en clubs arouns. nothing. Nothing to mention in a given price. If you looking for a quiet place, the area is quite busy and loud. Very noisy until 5 am each night. The hotel was on top of clubs, which resulted in hearing music all night long. Also, the breakfast was not too good. Perfect for the travellers who would come for the night life. Room was very small. We didn't have enough space to walk past each other without climbing on the bed. It would have been small for a single never mind a double. Too Ordinary Breakfast Too Noisy at night. every thing. The hotel was extremely noisy, specially at night till morning. There was an extreme loud noise coming from a nearby disco which was keeping us annoyed until morning. Assuming to get room for two adults and a baby, you only get one for one adult, very small size, staff promised to do things but the do not. not recommonded for family. I was in a situation to either uncomfort stay in or leave with paying the cancellation fee! I chosed the second breakfast was cheap and no tap water to wash face in the morning could be faced.
