Just came in and Mr ALI the handsome manager was with a cheerful smile welcoming me in , I got to chose between many rooms that auits me as We were lucky to get some rooms free We had our big fruit basket in our room the 2nd day The location was wonderful as me and my mum enjoyed shopping in takssim or taking cabs to different places down town for 10minutes away Breakfast was not bad and the staff with a confy smile The wifi was lovely and I could even use their computer at the reception as I n.
all reviews » - Very good location near Taksim Square, around the corner of Istiklal Caddesi with plenty of possibilites for shopping, eating, drinking and night life - access to public transportation (Taksim) only five minutes to walk as well as express bus "Havatas" directly from Atatürk Airport in 40 min. to Taksim Square for only 10 TLR (app. 4,30 €) per person - lovely served, rich breakfast either in breakfast room on top of the building or in the room with no extra charge - super friendly staff - . It's not that common for me to find a hotel where I seem to be happy with everything, but Eva Residence was an unexpected change on that front. The staff was excellent and incredibly helpful and understanding, even meeting some of my requests that they certainly did not have to. I stayed at a Deluxe Suite, which was always clean, well stocked with toiletries and nice looking. The location of the hotel is ideal, just off the main street, giving easy access to just about everything. It can be a b. Perfect location, ten seconds walk to Istiklal Cad., Ten minutes walk to Taksim Square, fiftheen minutes walk to Galata Tower and another five minutes walk to Galata Bridge. Surrounds by hundreds shops and restaurants and cafes! Breakfast was not included in the room rates when we made reservation but they provided nice breakfast to us every morning and they were free of charge! They gave us a late checkout untill 9:00pm so that we could have a rest before going to the airport, which made our l. The Eva Residence hotel meets my personal needs as I stayed for four peaceful nights at heart of Taqsim (Istiqlal avenue). In most part it is a win win situation to stay in a Eva Residence hotel, where you receive a 5 star service by Mr. Ali. Mr. Ali was the core of the hotel from contacting us before arriving to Istanbul until leaving to Bahrain. Mr. Ali ,you are a star so please accept my sincere thanks. I admire your willingness, energy, and organizational abilities. Rooms, toilet & furn. The friendly and helpful staff, especially the gentleman who helped us with our bags and brought us coffee. The hotel is conveniently located just steps away from Istiklal Caddesi and within easy walking distance to Taksim station. It is also a lesisurely walk to the Galata Tower. We even once walked all the way from the hotel to the Spice Bazaar, as suggested by Ali. It is surrounded by grocery stores, cafes and restaurants. Even at 4 am we could see quite a number of people walking in the str. Amazing people, great location! Everyone in the hotel was very helpful and nice! Hotel stuff was ready to help with any question such as directions, calling cabs and many more. The location is simply amazing, it is just off the main shopping and dining street. You can also find lots of food stores an little cafes next to the hotel. The room we stayed was a double suit. It had a separate living room with a little kitchen, very classy bedroom and a bathroom. Furniture was new, clean and stylish. Fantastic hotel like five stars. It is located in the best location of Istanbul. It is very easy to reach all monuments by public transport. Great location 10 meters from Istikal Cd, Taksim square is 5-10 minutes away, from there you can take the bus to the airport. Nearby there are hundreds of shops, restaurants, clubs and cafes.The room was spacious with an entrance-living with kitchenette and separate bedroom, modern and clean. It's new few months old nice hotel near Taksim square and only few meters from Istikli Cd. A bit of noise the night but we expected it since staying in a wonderful busy are with plenty of bars and wonderful restaurants around and in so it didn't bother us. - No access for disabled persons, as the elevator just starts from 1st floor, which was no problem for us - a bit noisy at night due to nearby clubs, but not preventing from falling asleep with windows closed. Best choice in Instanbul. Everything is just perfect. Highly recommended!. You may not like using stair from ground floor instead of elevator which is located at first floor. But I was prepared for that as I read about it. By the way, keep in mind that hotel doesn't have luxury reception and entrance. So, if you accept those conditions, you will receive a convenient customer service. No variety in the breakfast, so for the last 3 days of our 5-day stay, we skipped the breakfast option and prepared our own breakfast in the room instead; there's a kitchenette in the room. On hindsight we should not have taken the pricey hotel shuttle to the airport. You can very easily take a cab for a fraction of the cost. The view was not the best but compared to everything else it wasn't an issue!. Ver small enterance Small elevator and starting from 2nd floor Breakfast is bad (street is full of delicious restaurants varieties). everything was ok.....-:). Breakfast could be better. The breakfast lacked a little bit of imagination, but the guy who served us was quite nice and friendly, so it was a pleasant experience in the end:)... It's in an old building so you have some stairs before you get to the lift. No big deal, you can't have everything :) Kitchenette needs 1. bottle opener and 2. some cereal bowls. nightclub noise nearby till 4am. Very few English channels on tv. Air condition unit only in living room, not in bedroom. Nothing noted. If you are sensitive to noise, be aware of the fact that one hears the nightclubs music. It did not bother us though, since the windows are very good - double glaze. nothing. A bit loudly in the night (near by is club) but it is not a problem to sleep. small rooms. Lifts start from ist floor. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low. There is no soundproofing where we hear the sound of music from the nightclub nearby. Also, there is no lobby. As the location is so central, there is quite loud music from the streets at night. A bit noisy. the music at night. at night the area it`s a little bit noisy. Poor breakfast. the stairs for the first and second floor then there is the elevator. The noise from the night clubs the whole night ... It is hard to find by taxi driver so if you are coming from airport it will be better if you contact the hotel to arrange transport to the hostel so you will not waste the time with the taxi drivers looking for the hotel. I had to run with my bags to locate the hotel were there was violance on streets at taksim area "less than 20m " away from the protesters...on Friday 31st of May....but with the help of a noble turkish man....he guide us and took the buirden of facing the tear gas for that......really the hotel should inform us in advance for such situations ahead ....but it was an unforgettable moments especially for me as being in Istanbul for the first time. Be honest, nothing worth to take this hotel, expensive, small room and small living room " 1.5 m * 2 m" approximately. I did not feel comfortable in this hotel.
