The staff were superb! They could't do enough for. Dilge on reception was so friendly and helpful and all her recommendations concerning activities ( balloon flights, day tours, ATV hire) were spot on. The breakfast lady was so sweet, breakfast was perfect, the rooms were full of atmosphere ( cave rooms as well as others) and had great little extra touches. Rooms were also a great size and layout. All in all a gem of a hotel and worth every penny.
all reviews » The Terra Cave hotel was fantastic from the moment we booked until the moment we left. They responded quickly to any questions that we had prior to our visit, they booked all of our activities and our airport shuttle, and were always very friendly. The hotel itself was very nice, clean, and uniquely located in a cave. The daily breakfast that is included with the room was delicious! We would definitely recommend this hotel!. Decent breakfast in the morning, very helpful staff. Walkable to Goreme downtown shops. Will arrange tours and balloon rides (we did both and they were fantastic--Heritige Tours and Butterfly Balloons). They even let us come back after we had checked out to wait for our airport shuttle and drink tea! Definitely try the restaurant Seten, just up the road for a high quiality dinner. The staff were super friendly, they really went above and beyond. It's a nice boutique cave hotel, only a small number of rooms so felt really homely. Our suite was modern with all commodities and we were very comfortable. The breakfast - delicious! Close to the town centre and and easy walk to everything. Highly recommend booking a hot air balloon ride in Goreme. Wonderful, small cave hotel in Goreme. Dilge was a very gracious host and even drove us to Pasabag for a hike. We had one of the basement rooms which was nice and cool on the hot June days, and very quiet (you could literally hear a pin drop). The breakfast on the balcony was delicious. Highly recommended. Everything was just perfect. One of the hotels we've ever stayed in. Nothing at all. Because of the rock hotel and the rooms inside the doors it is very humid. Our clothes got wet. There is only one noisy room which is next to the road and was ours, some cars passing in front of the room woke us up early, anyway the staff offered us to change to a cave room the second night. If possible avoid that room. The commom terrace is also a noise problem for the non-cave rooms, people talk loud there late and it is close to the non-cave rooms. So for resting I strongly recommed the cave rooms. lovely place called Terra on this earth must visit. None. We were on our honeymoon and that almost wasn't addressed by the hotel staff. There was no air conditioning. Nothing. No view. the blow dryer did not stay on consistently. After two days, waking up to the sand on the floor from the cave became a nuance. Breakfast needs to be improved with more selections and daily changes. Nothing... You should not expect a luxurious stay, because there is only one person handling with everything. After reading reviews I was expecting a better stay, but still it was fair.
