  Myself and four other friends travelled to thailand for 2 weeks. We stayed at 4 different hotels throughout the country and we all agreed Tharathip was the best. - very friendly staff, nice swimming pools, clean and comfortable rooms. only 5 min by taxi to the center would stay there again!

  Everything! The service is amazing with everything covered (even before you've really thought about it!) The room had breathtaking views from the enormous balcony whilst the room itself (Grand Seaview Penthouse) had two large bedrooms and a massive open plan kitchen/living area.   Staff are friendly and super helpful! My friend and I stayed here for just one night before the Full Moon Party and the hotel offer a taxi service (350Baht return pp) to get there. Took about 20 mins and they always have someone waiting for anyone wanting to return (I though this was a great idea so you dont have to wait around if your wanting to ... what people say » leave) The hotel is located right next to the beach so ideal for relaxing. plenty of restaurants and bars on the beach - The surrounding area was fabulous, perfect for couples as you literally did not have to move from the resort with a supermarket,beach,restaurants and bars. Staff were brilliantly helpful and they picked us up from the pier for 120bht per person. Would definitely stay again, it was clean and romantic, but if your wanting to venture off around the island definitely rent a motorbike !

  Everything about his hotel was great, couldn't have asked for better service from the friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay here during the Full Moon Party and the location was perfect. Just at the bottom of the full moon party with a stoll down the beach (5min even less) hardly any noise from full moon party once back at hotel and in our room. ... what people say » As for the room and bedding that people have said that it is average, I disagree and I am from hospitality. The hotel was clean and we never had any d - The staff was very friendly and helpfull. It is placed in the middle of sunrise beach, very nice place during the day (white and slim sand, nice water but no interest for snorkeling) and the night where full moon parties take place once a month but the rest of the days there are restaurants and clubs to hang out.

  Nice and clean bungalows, nice furniture and atmosphere. They are not so big, but it is completley enough. It has a private beach which is almost empty all the time - so it is perfect if you want to run from the noise of the Had Rin and have a relaxed time. Location is on the one hand good, because it has its own beach, you could not hear the noise from - Very beautiful and relaxing place. We loved the view and liked the simple but stylish bungalows. The owners and staff were polite and helpful without being too pushy. Good food. (They even had home made jam at breakfast.) We appreciated the way the owners take care of the resort and try to make it better and better (for example the garden). Thongsala was so near that we could easily walk there once or even twice a day. The resort was quiet at nights.
