The elevator to take you up and down the hillside was an adventure in itself and not too much of a pain (as you have to wait five minutes at the bottom if you call it when it is at the top).   I stayed for three nights and liked it very much. In combination with the price of 30e/night, I'm even giving it 5 stars (though for that money, naturally you're not getting one of the "private pool" suites but their smallest, still very comfortable double room.) It can happen that you get a room in one of the buildings up the steep mountain slope... what people say » though (I diddn't). The upside is a great view, the downside is: stairs. I think it would be a small, but valuable improvement if the hotel manager s - Staff is really helpful and frienly. Hotel is located on a very beautiful and quiet beach, it´s almost like a paradise! Special thanks of the birthdaycake and sparkling wine at the breakfast on 3.10.2013! =) The villa(number 5) with pool and seawiev is great! We had a great week in this resort and we really recommend this hotel to everybody!

  The staff at the resort are what makes the place .   This is our second time at lime and soda, the food is great, staff were very friendly and helpful, location is nice and quiet the beach isent the best but this is NOT the resorts fault, we went for a swim joining lots of other people and had no problems. The swimming pool at times had a few bugs in we did see staff cleaning the pool so it does ge... what people say » t cleaned. Overall very satisfactory stay. - We liked everything about Lime n' Soda! We only left because we found a house to rent as we are on a month's fact-finding mission, travelling around the island to see if Phangan is the place for our retirement home. And we believe it is!   A+++++ Absolutely Fantastic! I will definitely go back and recommend it to all my friends. From before I even arrived here, they were super helpful and accommodating. I had to change my dates twice and asked a ton of questions. I always received quick and friendly responses.   Our room was big and clean and very comfortable. At our arrival at Koh Phangan pier there was the hotel shuttle bas waiting for us without we requested it and it was a good surprise. The position of the hotel is outstanting, between two of the most beautiful beaches of the island.   My fiancee and I stayed at burirasa for 5 nights, after a more-than-1-day- long trip. We used the transfer they organize from the Samui airport to the beach of the Buri Rasa. It costs pretty much twice the standard (1500 THB/pax), but it is worth!! Take a bus, then a speedboat, then get the room. Great. When you arrive at the port and want to go to the hotel you can take a share taxi for 150 bhat each. a room with seaview, but were upgraded to a beach room (beach right in front of the room, sea about 10 meters away).   Myself and four other friends travelled to thailand for 2 weeks. We stayed at 4 different hotels throughout the country and we all agreed Tharathip was the best. - very friendly staff, nice swimming pools, clean and comfortable rooms. only 5 min by taxi to the center would stay there again!

The room had breathtaking views from the enormous balcony whilst the room itself (Grand Seaview Penthouse) had two large bedrooms and a massive open plan kitchen/living area.   Staff are friendly and super helpful! My friend and I stayed here for just one night before the Full Moon Party and the hotel offer a taxi service (350Baht return pp) to get there. Took about 20 mins and they always have someone waiting for anyone wanting to return (I though this was a great idea so you dont have to wait around if your wanting to ... what people say » leave) The hotel is located right next to the beach so ideal for relaxing. plenty of restaurants and bars on the beach - The surrounding area was fabulous, perfect for couples as you literally did not have to move from the resort with a supermarket,beach,restaurants and bars. Staff were brilliantly helpful and they picked us up from the pier for 120bht per person. Would definitely stay again, it was clean and romantic, but if your wanting to venture off around the island definitely rent a motorbike !

  Everything about his hotel was great, couldn't have asked for better service from the friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay here during the Full Moon Party and the location was perfect.
