as a woman travelling alone and first-time visit to Asia I enjoyed the hospitality and welcoming attitude of staff, its central location is within walking distance to places of interest, very clean and very safe. One of my best decisions was staying at Centra Ashlee. Love the location, it's near the beach, patong otop, jungceylon and so thai spa. The receptionist are all English speaking and the rooms are clean and spacious with balcony. Nice rooftop bar to hang around during 5-8. Anything after that is too dark.

No hot water only warm water. Internet is not high speed. If a blackout occurs, the door is accessible to everyone. Check out staff was unfriendly. loud music from Hard Rock over the road. Single small elevator. It was to noisy, the beer huts right beside the hotel & the noise from all the huts makes sleeping very hard, I was in the 3rd floor & even with the balcony doors closed you could still here the music & yelling, then after they closed people would come back to the hotel & were running around slamming doors & people knocking on the door at 3am. Location is little far from downtown but not horrible, walk is about 10 minutes. Hotel is right next to Hard Rock so the room was little noisy at night. The food at the hotel is not very good. The bed is very hard. Bathroom smell a little. The plates and glass at the Restaurant for breakfast is smell very fishy as I dont think they wash it good. The shower didnt work properly, they didnt let me use the phone from the lobby instead they said to me I have to go to my room to make a phone call.. Who does that! And when I bring a local thai girl in the room which isnt a prostitute by the way they charge me 500 bahts. You can find better hotels at better prices and my suggestion is dont stay in pathong its for tourists if u wanna live the real experience rent a home. the air conditioned was noisy and bad. the hotel was very dirty.
