Staff were great from the moment we arrived. Birthday cake and big bunch of flowers on my birthday was a lovely surprise..Rooms (we had 2 pool access and a superior) were spotless....The pool and the grounds were well maintained...Hotel gave us a late check-out - at no charge....1st time this has ever happened in Thailand. Staff at the front desk / room service and in the dining room were all friendly and helpful....Great location - 3 minute walk to beach front...great restaurants and shopping .

We wouldn't stay anywhere else and we highly recommend Baumenburi for any couple or friends!. I loved the pool, and the bar and restaurant. I loved the staff, the loved my son and made a big deal out of always saying hello to us. Made you feel welcome and they were always happy to help. Will definitely come back. Rooms are a good size and very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a fair choice with something for everyone. Location was good but a little noisy at times. Good value for money. I was very happy with Baumanburi. Everyone is friendly there, the hotel is clean. Location is perfect, on the main street, next to Hard Rock Cafe. Everything is perfect there. I really recommend you that hotel. The hotel location was really good; only a few minutes walk from the beach. And the interior and design of the hotel was really nice and so was the stuff. Breakfast was ok. This hotel is close to hard rock cafe very well located. Easy access to shops and restaurants.The staff were friendly and a great variety of breakfast. Stayed there 8 nights and got a bit noisy on 2 occasions but not enough to stop us sleeping. None that I can think off. The bathroom seems very outdated and the toilet was blocked. No free-wifi and pretty expensive to buy 100BAHT for 1 hour. Superior room was located in a isolated part of the resort. And the place needs upgrade and doesnt look like 4 star resort. Hotel staff is not guest friendly. Some times if you ask about something they late for giving the answer. the noise of pubs and restaurants behind the hotel was loud and was disturbing at night free wifi not available in the rooms. All the staff does not have A good understanding of English. Trying to explain that We had a blackout in our room And no air conditioner or lights was very difficult and then the Workman just left us sitting with no air conditioner did not tell us that They could not fix it. My husband had to go to the desk to find . Though the room was spacious enough and could easily accommodate 4 persons (2 Adults and 2 Children) but still I was charged for 1 extra Bed. By the way we all 4 stayed in a single room in Bangkok without any extra charge. Resort only gives you one key to your room as it operates the power as we like to go back into our rooms to relax in the cool temperatures ,it would get to 34 plus the heat was very hot in rooms , would like to see some sort of renovations done to rooms as we have stayed at holiday inn with more up date in luxury ,. very noisy with the music from the bar or outside. very noisey from rock cafe across street till 1-00am. Noisy rooms both from the street and from other guests, food was average and we really didn't see the 4 star rating that came with the booking. None. Bad room service at midnight. Breakfast has no variety. Wifi free only for half to an hour, need to pay if want more. no free wifi. The matress was very hard not comfort. Breakfast not ok. The beds are very hard. No wifi in rooms it was a hassell to have to come down stairs to use Internet Front desk should have someone who could understand English speaking customers. Bit noisy. The disco music at night. Noisy environment from down stairs. Hotel is loud, has a band that plays late, and is situated close to many bars. It is outdated , feels more like a 3 star. If you are wanting a relaxing and quiet vacation then this may not be the place. Facilities are abit old.Been travelling to Baumanburri for 7 years and the facilities are still the same since the first day we came. Breakfast is below standards with minimal variety to choose from, Cashier Staff are not friendly at all, high amounted bills posted to our room which doesn’t belong to us, guest relations desk was unattended and empty all the time. They gave us corner room, where was no wifi. Hotel suggested to come to lobby if we want internet. They have package to buy internet for 10hrs, but you have to use it during 7 days. Pretty hard to use it all, if there is no internet in the room. No fans at the lobby and reception areas. Prohibit used toilet papers from being thrown into toilet bowl. Tv reception poor. No free wifi. standard rooms are outdated and noisy. The airconditioning was not working properly. Don't book for superior room, they are obscene, even an hostel is in better condition! I 've never seen before a 4* so dirty! I don't raccomand to spend your holiday in phuket if u are looking for good sea and friendly people!. It should be rated as 3-star hotel and not 4-star. Maintenance is quite poor as windows lock is spoilt and can't be lock. No carpet in the room so flooring is cold as it is tiles flooring and there is no bedroom slipper.
