  Good location on Lanta, the bungalow was great with our own terrace. Close to the beach. Excellent massages in front of the sea (sunset massage was excellent, so peaceful), the girls were so kind. You can rent a motorbike at the entrance of the hotel, and book some excursion (you must try the day tour in Koh Rok it's magic). - Clean roms, perfect... what people say » for relax, the night in the bar is super!!

I hope I am lucky enough to return to this haven of peace someday, as this is truly a unique and perfect spot - We stayed 2 night in Pimalai at the end of 4 weeks honeymoon trip. the hotel is located right on the beach spreading further towards the hill. the beach is quite nice but depend on the tide state. we really liked the room which was really comfortable, the breakfast (they have macaroons.. :), the shed in front of the beach. The service is nice, both pools are incredible. They have nice facilities for free at the beach. "why not" bar is great.

  Almost everything was as we had imagined it before travelling. Or even better. The hut was amazing, comfortable, spacious, surrounded by nature, Thai style,... And the resort itself was even better. Located in the beach (although the huts are uphill surrounded by trees) has everything you can guess. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. But don't expect - We loved the position of the resort right on the beach with so many nearby inexpensive eating places right on the beach nearby. We enjoyed the pool area with the cocktail bar close by and the half price cocktail sessions every evening. We enjoyed its location within easy reach by motorbike or tuk tuk of some stunning other beaches where we could swim or snorkel. The shopping at Old Town was also so easy to get to.   The hotel has a very large common pool and also two private pools that have direct access to certain rooms. We stayed in a room that had access to the private pool and it was perfect. There room was very clean. If you stay at this hotel you must go to Thai Cat, a restaurant that is next to the hotel on the beach. To get to the beach its a walk thrue the hotelarea, takes about 3 minutes. Long beach is a wonderful beach!!!   Really nice and big rooms. Clean. Very nice shower and also balcony. 3 big pools that was perfect. Could rent motorbike cheap in reception. Close to beach. Nothing negative about the hotel. - Very nice and helpful staff, good location. Breakfast not bad. Excellent massages at the Spa. Rooms are good equipped and all seems to work as expected. The location is perfect: on the beachside you can walk to many restaurants, minimarkets and massage places. From the hotel you can take a tuk-tuk for a 5 minute drive - I loved the vegetation in and around the hotel, the Thai style architecture of the bungalows, the location was great very close to the little village and to restaurantes and grocery shops.   Da and her staff were great, the girls really do their best even if they don't understand. Da helped with and saved us money on day trips, all of which were brilliant, our favorite being Koh Rok. Very relaxing environment...conducive to both couples and families. Relative to other places such as Phuket, Lanta is a safe place to ride a scooter, especially if you avoid high speeds and riding at night. As a result, the central location of the resort makes it a great place to be if you want to get out and explore for a few days!

  We enjoyed staying at Mook Lanta. Especially because of the great hospitality of Melissa and Nick, the owners of this resort. They will tell you where to find the best places like restaurants and bars. The resort has a great ambiance because of the way it's built: a small road leads you to all the bungalows which feels like you're in a jungle, in ... what people say » a good way though. If you booked your room including breakfast, Nick will make you toast with eggs and bacon (or a healthy breakfast if you want to). - We absoloutely loved the lokation. The rooms were very close to the beach and it was jungel feel about it. The owners, Melissa And Nic were great! They where wery helpful and Nic Even took us around the island in his car. The place has wifi and a bar to relax in. They live behind the reseption so if you need anything after closing time it was no problem at all.

Staff is extremely helpful and always in the best mood. As for the room, we got a beautiful bungalow. Very comfortable and good A.C. It had a couple of minor cosmetic details but nothing to worry a... what people say » bout. We found it very useful,easy and convenient to rent a motorcycle, hire tours and boats from they're office. Would definetely go back and of cou - Hotel was great! The staff are soo friendly and helpfull! The owner is lovely, we booked just 1 night and ended up staying 6 nights it was great! The pool is great, its right on the beach. I haven't got a bad word to say! Value for money! We definitely will be visiting again. We were made to feel so welcome. Didn't want to leave but we had a flight pre booked from krabi! Fantastic. :)

After noisy Patong beach and Phuket you can realy relax and feel yourself like in countryside, but not in town. For noisy night-life lovers it will not be favorite place. - Everything!   Lanta Mermaid is a first-class boutique hotel. Small and personal with a great breakfast and very clean accommodations. The walk to the beach is just 2 minutes across the (busy) road. We were in a room on both sides of the building. The mountain view room was actually nicer and more quiet. There is not much of an ocean view on the third floor fron... what people say » t side - but lots of street action to watch. - Everything was great at the hotel. I wasn't expecting this kind of place given that it is pretty cheap. The staff was really friendly and made a point remembering my name. Rooms are very clean and quiet, even on the road side - they have good bay windows... For the first time in Thailand I didn't need to use my earplugs at night.
