The hotel has a very large common pool and also two private pools that have direct access to certain rooms. We stayed in a room that had access to the private pool and it was perfect. There room was very clean. If you stay at this hotel you must go to Thai Cat, a restaurant that is next to the hotel on the beach. The food there was amazing, the best we had in Thailand. We had a hotellroom with poolacess, it was so nice! The room was big and clean! Nice breakfast with many choises. To get to the beach its a walk thrue the hotelarea, takes about 3 minutes. Long beach is a wonderful beach!!! Go to Thai cat and Sayang at the beach for good food, and "nextdoor" to the hotel at the beach is lovely Country bar!!.

The staff was friendly but the could be a little bit more polite. If you want to get better prices for cabs, tuk-tuks and ferrys or speedboats, don't get them at the hotel, just walk a few blocks down the street (heading downtown) and go to one of the agencies there. Breakfast was not so great. Some mosquitos. You can hear your neigbours pretty easy. Water not available for showers always with the desired temperature - it is on an island. One night after a storm there was an enormous influx of insects for some reason. Unpleasant but I feel the weather was to blame. No aircon in the breakfastroom, the staff at breakfast could not speak or understand english. Many flyes at the brekfast, cover the food better. Bad cleaning at the bathroom in the bungalow. Some days no hot water in the bathroom. The water in the rooms was in unavailable. The staff were quite nonchalant about this which was disappointing. .mosquito .low water pressure .air cond not functioning well .inconsistant hot shower. Well the room was very dirty dead Mosquitos squashed in the walls toilet seat full of back stains the bed was creased it looked like someone had slept in it furniture old and stained definitely not worth the money No seat covers on sun beds screaming kids running around unsupervised very hard to get a sun bed by the pool breakfast very bland definitely not a relaxing place.
