The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water and water pressure. Hotel location was close to the center of town - an easy walk, The hotel staff was extraordinary and helpful way beyond any expectations. My husband and I wish every hotel in Europe was as wonderful as the Rex. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very quaint and is located perfectly near main train station and old city. If you are looking for a conventional hotel and all it's amenities then Helvetia not for you. The Astor is a short tram ride (uphill) from the train station - take #7 towards the zoo and get off at the first stop once the tram turns uphill after crossing the river. The unit we had has a small kitchen that was very handy. The beds are comfortable and the rooms on the back side of the hotel are very quiet. There is a free laundry machine! We absolutely loved our stay here.
