THE STAFF - They were all very courteous and competent. The room was simple and clean, with a typical tiny bathroom squeezed into it for modern times. Everything was flawlessly clean, and the breakfast was set up perfectly. Literally across the street from the train station, it couldn't be more convenient for travelers. The old part of the city is a five minute walk. very close to main train station,almost across the road..mins walk to main city and tourist area of zurich..I wasn't expecting much as being in guest house rather than there hotel part,but was quite comfortable and good bathroom and good water pressure..zurich is very expensive so this guest house is quite good for money...
all reviews » Check-out time at 12:00 is perfect especially for flight leaving for Asian countries in the late evening. Bath room is standard and better than other Swiss standard hotel's shower closet. Bed is also larger than the Swiss claimed standard hotel. Location is perfect and very close to Zurich hb. Location could not be better within walking distance of the HB train station, easy walk even with luggage. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast better than most European city hotels we've stayed at. We would definitely consider a return visit. The Guest House is literally across the road from the railway station so it is great if you are arriving by train. It is clean and functional. The breakfast was good. The fan was fantastic because the weather was so hot. Drunks yelling in nearby streets most nights. bathroom inadequate - one of those modular units so that when you take a shower everything gets wet and it didn't drain well and the door wouldn't close all the way even though the track appeared to be adequate. No water hotter, no refrigerator. Transparent glass on bathroom. Expensive (like all of Zurich I think). no smoking. The bathroom pod inserted into the room was clean and functional but it made the entire room very cramp and had a makeshift quality. I didn´t like the room size. I currently reserve in the Walhalla hotel, and it's a good quality hôtel. But this time in the guest house, I was in the room 620.
