  It was a great hotel, in a location close to the town [5 minutes walk]. It seems like the hotel is newly removated, so very clean, and modern. Much nicer than some other 4* more expensive hotels I have stayed in in Zermatt.   Staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. Pleasant room. Nice buffet breakfast. About a ten minute walk to the gondola to the Matterhorn ski area (can change at Furi for the Gornegrat ski area too). Only slightly uphill (easy inclines) from local shops, restaraunts & ski hire, so overall, pretty conveniently placed. Quiet loca... what people say » tion. - The rooms were spacious by Swiss standards. We were able to fit a cot for three kids in one "double" room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good and everyone including our picky eater was happy with the choices. It's on a quieter side street but still close to lifts, apreski, restaurants and shopping.

  The room was clean and spacious. It had beautiful view. The shower was strong. The location was away from the traffic and very peaceful.   I loved the management; she was helpful and considerate and friendly too. I appreciated the great location to the train station and Gornergrat Bahn, yet it was a quiet street and we had good rest. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom large. All in all a great value, - Clean and cosy apartment with cooking facilities. Defintely value ... what people say » for money and we really enjoyed our stay at Chalet, which is just a short walking distance from the train station. Highly recommend to book early as there is only 1 apartment available.

I wish I could have more time to converse with her. Room was clean and the view of Matterhorn was fabulous. The spa was a surprise, after a day's walking, to have a sauna was indeed the highlight of the day.

The room was comfortable, quiet, warm and clean and the view left us speechless. Included breakfast offered a good variety of choices, including dried meats, a local specialty. The view is absolutely UNBEATABLE. You are practically on the Matterhorn. The gondola silently glides almost overhead from time to time offering excellent photos. I'm not sure if the view is better from the room or the restaurant/breakfast room.
