  I was lucky, upgraded to the suite. Very comfortable beds, well appointed bathroom and a view of the Matterhorn. The hotel was comfortable and beautifully decorated like a game lodge.   It was a great hotel, in a location close to the town [5 minutes walk]. It seems like the hotel is newly removated, so very clean, and modern. Much nicer than some other 4* more expensive hotels I have stayed in in Zermatt.   Staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. Pleasant room. Nice buffet breakfast. About a ten minute walk to the gondola to the Matterhorn ski area (can change at Furi for the Gornegrat ski area too). We were able to fit a cot for three kids in one "double" room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good and everyone including our picky eater was happy with the choices.   I loved the management; she was helpful and considerate and friendly too. I appreciated the great location to the train station and Gornergrat Bahn, yet it was a quiet street and we had good rest. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom large. All in all a great value, - Clean and cosy apartment with cooking facilities. The spa was a surprise, after a day's walking, to have a sauna was indeed the highlight of the day.

  Hotel is ideally located near ski lifts. Staff was friendly and attentive and offers free shuttle service to and from train station. The view is absolutely UNBEATABLE. You are practically on the Matterhorn. The gondola silently glides almost overhead from time to time offering excellent photos. I'm not sure if the view is better from the room or the restaurant/breakfast room.
