I was lucky, upgraded to the suite. Very comfortable beds, well appointed bathroom and a view of the Matterhorn. The hotel was comfortable and beautifully decorated like a game lodge. The meals were great. Free pick up from the train station, and return. The staff were amazing. ESP the host family. Felt like a cosy house more than a hotel. It was a wonderful experience. Excellent situation, close to ski slopes and to restaurants, comfortable room, very quiet at night.

Zermatt is car-free. Cars can only go to Täsch (5 km from Zermatt). There are many parking lots and multi-storey car parks there. Trains go to Zermatt every 20 minutes. Please inform the property upon arrival via phone if you wish to make use of the free pick up service, which runs between 8:00 and 21:00. Outside of these hours, it is possible to reach the hotel within a 10-minute walk or with an official taxi.
