  This place was awesome! Great staff, great facilities (laundry, currency exchange, a pool that has a mega ramp to catapult you into the pool, I mean, come on!), great location. Interlaken was a really cool town, it's easy to get to other towns in the Jungfrau region, and it's chock full of adventure sports and activities. Tip: amazing veggieburger... what people say » at the Three Tells bar down the street! Free bus passes come with your room, and I used to mine to take the bus to a nearby town and go kayaking, and - The front desk person Tinnen was very friendly and helpful. The hotel room and facilities were quite spacious and have old time feelings. The surroundings with the mountain views were quite nice. Very close to the city centers with good bus connections.

  Fantastic atmosphere and great staff. I felt I've got really personal service. I had domitory room for single use. Location is obviously one of the best assets of hostel. Bachlapsee is almost around the corner. I was woken up by cows bells and was shocked to see snow outside (in August). Views from breakfast room were breathtaking.   Peaceful and quiet; we had a dorm to ourselves (as did other guests staying); exceptional food (steak for main course); of our trip - which saw us stay in eleven places - this competed only with one other accommodation (pension sonnenberg) and was definitely best value for money.
