  I feel quite fortunate to have stumbled upon this little gem of a hotel situated in the alpine village of Wengen. The staff are all excellent, friendly and helpful and really made our stay even better. I like the fact that Hotel Caprice is not a large hotel because the service feels much more personal. We appreciated the privacy and quietness of the surroundings - The staff is exemplary and the views are stunning. Annamarie and Justin are engaging and accommodating hosts while Carlos looks after every detail in the dining room. The hotel offers very easy access to the Kleine Scheidegg and the Jungfraujoch and has the most incredible views of the Jungfrau and the waterfalls along the Lauterbrunnen Valley walls. Very highly recommended.

  It was a very pretty area, relaxing for a short stay. Mybstaybwas only 4 days l'm spent it visiting the cable car lifts, and the villages close by.   This was a wonderful hotel. The hotel was small enough to ensure that every guest had a personalised experience but big enough to offer all the required facilities like a fabulous restaruant. The hosts Jacqui and Bernard and their staff went out of their way to make sure every guest had everything they wanted. The views from every room were amaz... what people say » ing! We definitely want to return again. - Nearly everything! The owners welcomed us personally the first day there...and maintained their interest in our well-being throughout our 1-week stay. The location is outstanding for views of the Alps and being away from the crowds of Interlaken. The room was very large and very clean. We would stay here again without hesitation during any future visits to the area.

This is a family run hotel and I must say that it is the best hotel within the star rating that it has. They were able to tell us down to the bus times what we should see which was excellent as we only had two nights there.   A nice friendly hotel with an excellent breakfast and good selection for dinner. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the farm yard next door. Every night we sipped wine while we watched the animals interact. It was great fun. The free town bus stops within a block of the hotel so getting around Kandersteg was convenient. They offer the free bus pass within the town and 2 special coins each person per day that can be used on the automatic washing machine & drier or for two cups of hot drinks like some kinds of coffee and tea and even chocolate drink. Staff are helpful (and even remember if you've been there before). facilities are great for a hostel and the breakfast is better than some 4/5 star hotels offer. Heaps of things to do locally in all types of weather. And they also have washing machines and driers (a rare commodity in not only Interlaken, but a lot of Swiss towns). S
