The price was so much cheaper for the quality and loca - We stayed in room 402, which was one of the rooms with a balcony. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful! Close to all major sights and train station, but all the shops are on the other side of the river. Although we did not eat at the hotel's restaurant, is looked very nice and were full every night. Will definitly recommend the hotel to budget travellers!!

A great place to stay - clean, comfortable, but most of all friendly and relaxed. A small hotel with a big heart and loads of character - love the lift! Great location 10min walk to city/station. Bathrooms clean. Breakfast is the usual, cereal, toast, jam, coffee. Would recommend this hotel. The owner is fabulous! He was very helpful for "dumb" tourists and the fact that he is mutlilingual is a huge asset: - easy to access city center.

d right on the lake and a nice walk into the city takes you along the waterfront towards the old town. The city of Luzern is lovely, clean and very te - The place was fantastic. People were brilliant . I think it's amongst the best stays I have had with respect to the friendly persons. Felix and his wife are lovely people and very helpful and kind natured. Really the best hosts I've ever come across. I'm definitely going back to villa Maria . Thanks so much Felix. U made our holiday even better - -Close to town - easy bus access (1 minute walk to stop) or a 15-20 minute walk to town. -Had to leave early before breakfast was actually served and one of the staff offered to set out some items for us to grab on our way out prior to the staff setting everything out for the rest of the guests. -Breakfast had a wide selection and very filling.

Luzern is a beautiful city and we enjoyed our time there. We had a good sized room and the staff were very helpful. Parking is underneath the hotel. It was a better than the average Ibis. The train station is only a 7 min walk from the hotel and it takes only 4 min to get into Luzern. The hotel is only a short drive from the Mt Pilatus cable car. …
