Friendly and helpful staff and good location. The transportation ticket they gave me and the breakfast was really good.Location, very friendly stuff. They opened the breakfast earlier for me because I had to leave early. The room I was given was completely different from the one shown on the web, and the walls were very thin. The spartan room was nice and clean, but the rooms have such paper-thin walls that you hear even a whisper from your neighbouring rooms.There is no hairdryer. Disadvantage: I dont think the room is not worth for that price. But still based on the location I would recommend my friends.thin walls. Can't understand why the hotel can't use proper curtains.The hotel is very old indeed. Once upon a time it was a 3 star hotel, but nowadays, even 2 stars would be overrating. The walls allow you to hear people speaking in the next door rooms. Though the location is very convenient, you have to be extemely careful as the area is really frequented by professional pickpocketers. Very hard in August without air conditining and expensive internet facilities. The whole night we could hardly sleep due to noise from nearby rooms and from the road.The cleanliness and lack of kettle in the room.The street noise is, even at the fifth floor, very loud. You can hardly sleep with the window open. - internet prices way too high.
- the hotel name (Moderne) does not reflect the state of the hotel. it needs a good renovation. the state of the rooms are not very good.The Lift room is very small, hardly 2 persons can be accommodated. Cleanliness requires improvement, especially toilet.The room was desagreable. In the bathroom was very cold, beacourse the window is no good. The hotel is old.Noisy. Not completely clean (under the bed was some dust). the room. No parking, some staff have limited proficiency of English but very helpful and friendly. 1. Breakfast limited selection 2. Bedsheet dirty 3. No re-fill of shampoo etc.No air condition. The Hotel was very uncomfortable.very run down and drab - even dirty ; not very good breakfast ; not at all 'Moderne'. The rating of this hotel as as 3 star is misleading - once you get into your room it is clearly only 1-star. The decor is in much need of repair and the furniture is very poor. Complaints to the management at the time of checking out were not satisfactorily dealt with and correspondence since has been ignored.
