Jr. suite was great, rich period design, exceptionally clean, very comfortable - felt luxury and style. Breakfast a la carte was decent and the breakfast room classy. Location - absolutely the best. Old town, all those watch boutiques and hi-end stores. The lake just steps away. Superb location in the heart of the city, but quiet cozy atmosphere; large comfortable room, discreet and efficient service. Much more intimate and romantic than your standard 5-star.

If you can afford it stay there. Breakfast (included in the room rate) was sparse. Would expect a decent buffet in this class of hotel. Some aspects of the decor (the artificial grapes and grape-shaped lights everywhere) we didn't like, but this is a matter of personal taste. nothing. Nothing. The mattress of the bed was not very comfortable. Also the bathroom was to small. Indifferent reception and service in restaurant + billing error (charged a la carte for a fixed menu). When pointed out a new bill was issued and placed on my table without comment or apology. Incident reported to receptionist (at checkout) who promised to speak to maitre d'hotel. nothing. Nothing. breakfast. everyone is charged 32 euros once seated! even if you just asked for a coffee bed uncomfortable!! they should invest in better mattresses. There are no Russian programs on the TV. bathroom too small. Breakfast was insignificant beds were extremely hard smoke filled our room from lower smoking floor and nothing could be done. telephone staff were very rude.
