The hotel was right on the beach which is where we wanted to be. Paseo Neptuno is the spot for pallea and beach bars in town, so while outside the city there are still great places to eat and a good scene. We went for a run on the boardwalk every morning. It is still easy access to the rest of the city. We walked to the city of arts in about 20-30 minutes, and rented the hotel bikes to ride to old town another day. The metro stops are nearby as well. The beach cafe downstairs is also a great pl.
all reviews » I was positively surprised about room and quality for 2 stars only! Just around the beach- excellent location. Possibility to catch direct bus to city center (10-15min) or metro (change once). Room had TV, WLan, aircondition, bathroom - all you need. Also good cleanness. And I very much liked the big windows. Room was very light. Also great beach bar and restaurant below- but no problem with noive. LOVE the restaurant attached to the hotel. The staff were accommodating and the rooms just what you need for a short stay. In summer this place would pop off situated right on the beach. very close to the metro. All the staff were so helpful and kind and made us feel very welcome. We chose this hotel as it was near the beach but also easy to get to the center of Valencia by metro. Excelent value for money. we thought the hotel was charming, chilled out & funky! A great beachfront location and amazing friendly service from all the staff. For us the sea side location was great. Being close to many restaurants was a bonus. Breakfast included was important. Great location with very friendly and helpful staff. Everything in the room worked and was clean. Also some bands were playing in the weekend. nice small budget hotel with great cafe / bar downstairs, staff were friendly and obliging, good value for money and right across from the beach. Being close to the sea and seeing it from our room. It can be loud on weekends, as you are right on the boardwalk. Also the rooms are very basic - not much design or luxery. The showers also fluxiate in temperature. We ended up in two rooms b/c we stayed an extra night and this was an issue in both rooms. Great for the price though, and we thought it was clean and did the job as a place to rest our heads at night after seeing the great sights of Valencia. Personal at reception wasn't very helpful. I asked for a waterpark and they told me there is no one close by. But then I discovered they even had a flyer of it lying at the reception... Sad that personal wasn't very motivated. Music was a little loud when trying to eat dinner during the week. There is nothing that we did not like about this hotel. The selection at breakfast was somewhat limited. A greater selection of cheeses, meats and having boiled egss would have been more suitable for us. More proteins fewer carbs. The bed was not very comfortable, we didn't get a good nights sleep at all. Small room. Breakfast was very simple and you had to ask for a coffee instead of being offered one. bedroom although clean was "tired" needed some work doing on the walls ( plaster falling off) as it was stated as a "Superior Twin Room". Not much. - breakfast, very inadequate. Restaurant. Noisy. - Very poor breakfast. Do not recommend to take it. - a lot of mosquitos in the room - when the bulb was dead in the main lamp they did not change it fir 2 days although we asked. - the pillow was bad; - very small room; - old fashioned furniture; - old shower facilities..it went out of order, but they changed it in the same day. -vary bad hair drier. Recommend to take yours from home. smell in bathroom coming through the drains. Didn't have cabel sports. Internet to slow. smell of drains uncomfortable bed basic breakfast basic / tired rooms. Old furniture,liitle window. Lack of space in the room 217 No desk, no comfortable chairs No balcony; Pilling wallpaper in the bathroom, inability to shut the bathroom door; dust and faz under beds; loud music and drums until 4:00am(!) in the cafe downstairs; breakfast buffet placed on window seal.
