  Easy to find the hotel because it is just in front of the Catedral. A few minutes walk to the historical town centre and Renfe station. Staff is also very friendly. I did not know the reception is not open at seven o'clock in the morning. Unfortunately I did not have a mobile available in Europe, so I tried to make a call from the reception desk b... what people say » ut the pay phone is out of order. I have left a memo for room charge and when I arrived at Barcelona early afternoon I phoned to the manager for expl - Staff were very friendly and readily accommodated our request to change rooms so that we were away from a busy road. The room and bathroom were scrupulously clean. Centrally located, within walking distance to everything including the railway station, just a 10 minute walk away, with luggage.

  Irenaz resort was located on the edge of a beautiful green valley that was so relaxing. There was often music traveling up from somewhere on the mountain and it made us really feel like we were in Europe. The location is a bit out of San seb city but the bus stop is 100metres down the road and for 1.60 euro takes you 11-15 minutes to get into town... what people say » . The staff were really lovely and helpful with everything from beaches, San Fermin and resturants. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the bathroo - The apartments were very modern and private, overlooking the valley on the outskirts of San Sebastián. We specifically chose the location because we had a car we didn't want to use in the city and parking was free. The apartments were close to a bus stop with regular buses taking about 15 minutes to reach the centre of the city. The reception staff were very helpful in assisting us with a damage report we needed to fax to the leasing company.

  The hotel was ideally located for us as it was relatively easy arriving and leaving by car and was a nice walk ( about 20 mins) to the old town, beach and other sites. Onsite parking was available - make sure you get your room card from reception before parking car or you can't use lifts to the hotel! The restaurant wasn't open during our stay, but cafe at the front was good for a drink or a - The staff were very friendly and spoke English. We chose this hotel as we were arriving by car and didn't want to drive right into the city centre. The walk into town only takes 10-15 mins. We also loved the movie theme of the hotel and got the Bob Hoskins room. The rooms have DVD players and you can hire for free, movies from the hotel to watch, so we thought this was pretty cool. Can't comment on the breakfast as we went an ate elsewhere.

  Javier who was the point of contact and person in charge at Pension was one of the highlights of the entire trip to San Sebastian. He was very helpful telling us exactly where to go to get a round and had a great sense of humor. We had a great stay at Pension and have already recommended a number of friends to stay there! Thanks Javier and Pension... what people say » ! Also we survived the bulls! =) - EVERYTHING!!!!! The location was perfect. We had the most beautiful walk across the bridge into old town everyday. The staff did EVERYTHING possible to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The rooms were nice and big and cozy. Coffee from the machine in the lounge was great and convenient. The value was outstanding. We will stay here when in San Sebastian:)))))

  Nice, bright and clean room on the 5th floor, loved the little balcony facing the street. Quiet area, but still close to everything. Joakina herself was very nice and welcoming, and so was her son. Some people have complained about her being around all time, but we only saw her on arrival and the day we left.   Located just across the road from La Zurriola beach (the surfing beach) and the Kursaal Congress Centre and Auditorium. It's an easy 5 mins minutes walk across the bridge to the main city centre, making it very convenient and yet safe & not noisy. There is constantly someone at the reception to assist you, - Pension Kursaal feels like a very good 3-star hotel to me. The room and bathroom are spacious, with a little balcony overlooking the Kursaal convention centre (room 14). It is well equipped with strong shower and hair dryer. The pillow is really comfortable! Wifi is fast. Just around 10 mins walk to the old part. A really good hotel overall!

  We enjoyed our stay at the Zaragoza Plaza; this small hotel is well located (step away from La Concha beach and close to the old city), and in a quiet area just in front of the Zaragoza Plaza.   I booked this Hotel for a four night mini break to watch the Heineken Cup quarter final between Biarritz and the Ospreys on Saturday 10th April.We could not have chosen a better Hotel right opposite the Anoeta Stadium.
