We had a flat tire while staying at the hotel and the staff was very cooperative about helping us get it changed and taking us to a tire repair shop to get us back on the road. Stayed 4 nights at this well-managed hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. Our room (junior suite) had a great view on the river and the Guggenheim museum. The coloured windows are a somewhat strange gimmick, but you get used to it after a while. We enjoyed being able to rent bicycles at the hotel and discover Bilbao at our own speed. Break

What it lacks in extras, it makes up for in being clean, modern, offering a good breakfast, and a great spot in front of the beach. We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful (and
spoke excellent English). The room was so homey-it was nice to go out in
