  Everything was the best, this was our 4th visit - They had an indoor pool as well as 2 other pools outside. It was also about 1 block from the beach which was awesome. If you stay here then you will be on the German side of the beach. Since I live in Germany, i was looking to "get away" for a lil bit but i guess everything else worked out.   The apartment we stayed (223) in slept 6 people although there were only 3 of us. Myself and my partner had a really nice, clean en suite double room within the apartment with doors leading onto a huge balcony. The en suite had a hairdryer, complementary toiletries, plenty of to - We loved our stay here. While the hotel is located beside an undeveloped swamp, this was mostly hidden! Our balcony view was lovely, we were very comfortable in the 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was extremely well equipped, important for a self catering holiday. A dishwasher and washing machine were provided and washing tablets for both appliances! This was a first and incredibly helpful. Had I known I could have cut down even more on the packing! They have signs saying "silence as respect to other guests" and this appeared to work as we didn't hear any noise.   We had a short stay at the Amapola and could not have wished for anything more. The location was beautiful with the lake to the rear and the beach 5 minutes away.   This is a good basic hotel, but with luxurious location! The sea, the beach, the view are wonderful from the hotel, you can hop in the sea just like that. We had a half board, which got a bit boring on the 4ht and last day. The only tasty thing in the buffet was fish, and once we got the local paella.
