  The Hostal Gat Raval was a fantastic place from which to explore Barcelona. The location and indeed the street Joaqim Costa are excellent. On leaving the Hostal there is a buzz about, cafes, bars and restaurants are easy to find and have an air of cool without being pretentious. The hostal is very clean and welcoming.   I was thrilled with the quality of the hotel for such a reasonable price (cleanliness, modern design, well-decorated, 24-hour reception, free wi-fi zone, etc.) I loved having the suite with the kitchen for cooking.   Very cheap, simple accommodation but with good basic facilities (and good towels). Convenient for local bird sanctuary, for those with a car. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to town centre for meals, etc. - Owner was very friendly. They also run a restaurant downstairs. Other good restaurant just around the corner. Excellent value for money.

  We were grateful that we did not have to share the accomadation as the bedrooms are very close, but we felt comfortable and warm, the whole apartment was very clean and a lady came in every day to change towels ect (you must ask as you have to pay 1Euro per towel).   Hi my name is Vlanik! We came with a friend one day and had a great time. The hotel is located just off the square named after Christopher Kollumb. The beach is walking distance about 20 minutes. Very helpful staff. We forgot in the room Sneakers. And a member of staff brought them to the other end of town. We were very touched by such attention a... what people say » nd care. Stay there you will not regret. - The staff and service was outstanding. Great! The apartment was very very clean and well maintained except for one small thing. There was a couple long hairs on my floor of my room which was disturbing. It should of been vacuumed better.
