  The apartment is well located in the center of the city. It is within walking distance to many attractions or to the Metro. I especially liked the fact that we were able to take the Aeroporter bus to & from the airport for a very reasonable price. It was perfect, spotlessly clean, light, not noisy. They cleaned the room several times a day. Also we checked in at 10:00 am and left our bags since our mini suites were not ready. We gave our passport copies, our credit cards and all info, but when we came back at 5 pm from sightseeing,our bags were still not brought to our rooms. We were 3 couples and were exhausted. The proximity to the city was a feature of hotel and the swimming pool was a - The location of the hotel was perfect , it is few minutes walk from the city center and the bus tour. The staff are friendly and helpful all the time and were kind to my 5 months old son. The inside of the hotel is clean with modern design, the room although slightly small but are comfortable and clean and the hotel provide a cot to by son freely. I was expecting a moderate size swimming pool unfortunately it was small, but again it is clean with modern design romantic atmosphere.

We walked about 20 mins to Sagrada Familia and about the same time from Placa de Catalunya (where we got the bus to the airport) - Free Wifi - Clean and spacious rooms. It is also only a few minutes walk to the nearest Metro stations, which provide easy access across Barcelona. The room was fairly small, but was well decorated; was lovely and clean; and was quiet. It also had a nice balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful and offered good sightseeing tips.

  My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city. The Airbus station is just few minutes away and since we traveled by air we enjoyed the cheap and efficient bus transportation.
