  We loved our room, which was modern, spacious & stylishly appointed. Everything that we could want was there. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We ate in the Tapas bar on one night of our stay & had a very good meal. We did not think it was overpriced. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel & are looking forward to returning - Rooms were stylish and well set out and in a building with beautiful architectural features. Breakfast was good. Location was excellent within walking distance of hop on hop off bus stop and close to restaurants, massage place and shops. Also within easy walking to La Rambla. Concierge staff were particularly good and helpful and booked a few outings for us. The hotel however could have a stand to show what they offer in this respect to make more profit.

  We loved our stay at this Hotel Palace! Perfect, professional and very polite and helping staff. We had a wonderful room with a balcony and good view (standard). It was perfect, spotlessly clean, light, not noisy. They cleaned the room several times a day. It is very traditional, aristocratic classic hotel, with classic light interior at the same time with all the modern - The Hotel is beautiful,but there were very few large bath towels, no small wash clothes and no extra pillows. Also we checked in at 10:00 am and left our bags since our mini suites were not ready. We gave our passport copies, our credit cards and all info, but when we came back at 5 pm from sightseeing,our bags were still not brought to our rooms. We were 3 couples and were exhausted. They said they needed another signature before they could put the bags in the rooms. It was ridiculous since we

  The hotel is completely new. We had the room facing the pool area(cons of the street). The room was very clean with comfortable beds, with enough space, free juices and water in the refrigerator, tea and coffee maker with coffee and tea bags (refilled every day) and with very nice and clean bathroom. Near the hotel there are more than few restaurants where you can eat well at a reasonable price. - The rooms are nicely decorated, the hotel has its own personality, every room is decorated differently. We had a room on the top floor and it came with a large terasse and sunbeds. The bed was perfect, not too hard, not too soft. Location is great, just one block from Passeig de Gracia and Plaza Catalunya. Close to the lively tourist area, but still in a less crowded, noisy neighbourhood. The Airbus station is just few minutes away and since we traveled by air we enjoyed the cheap and efficient bus transportation.
