  Our stay was very pleasant. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Rooms are soundproof due to the large double windows and very bright and clean as well with a modern style. Awesome airplane theme throughout the room and hotel. Our room had a balcony with a nice view of one of the main streets in Barcelona. Very comfortable beds... what people say » . Tea & Coffee making facilities were provided along with bathrobes & slippers. The best thing is 'Free WiFi'. Candy and chocolates were kept - We stayed at the hotel for 1 week. During this time we changed 3 rooms.   It was right in the middle of the city and herself was delighted as it was on one of the main streets with all the famous Spanish retailers.   The facilities were excellent, the power shower was amazing, laptop with free internet and all the finishing touches to the decor etc really made the difference. The hotel is right in the middle of everything but you never hear any of the traffic because of the very good double glazing even though we were right on the road.   Excellent location, quiet room. The room was very pleasant and so were the public areas of the hotel. The staff was very kind, efficient and helpful. The Airbus station is just few minutes away and since we traveled by air we enjoyed the cheap and efficient bus transportation. There are a number of restaurants nearby where you can eat decent breakf... what people say » ast if you want to skip the full hotel breakfast. - I have been staying in many 4-star hotels, because I used to travel a lot for my work. The Avenida Palace is one of the best 4-star hotels in which I have been staying: excellent location, good service, recently renovated room and bathroom, and almost no noise from the street, from the corridor or from other rooms.
