- Location was perfect. Right in the middle of the centre. You can see almost all attractions by walking. Many shops around, many restaurants and food options. Make sure you explore the neighborhood before you decide where to get you meal.

stations. When checking in I got keys to the room and front door, which
was very convinient, because in other hostels sometimes you dont get the
keys and have to leave them at the reception desk every time you get out
(which is something which I really do not like in other hostels).

The location is great, clean lovely rooms at the 4th floor. Staff always pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Reserve a room at the 4th floor facing the back large patio. Pickpocketed on way to hotel on metro so no cash at all. Staff at hotel very helpful even with limited english! They phoned police and they allowed us to use hotel phone to contact home for money transfer. Great breakfast and coffee facilities - very central. cool concept. highly recommended.

You can't beat the location. And while no hotel costing less than a
fortune is totally quiet, I was pleasantly surprised at how relatively
peaceful Madrid City Rooms was. The double windows did not block out all
of the cacaphony outside, but they did a much better job dampening it
than I expected. The man at reception was very friendly, and anyone with

Hotel staff spoke very good English, and they were very pleasant. It
was very quiet inside all the hallways and doors, so I knew I would be
able to sleep well. Safe. We had a key to get into the building later
in the evening. The evening staff worked very hard to print out a
ticket for us. He was very kind to do so. Polite, honest, hard working.
The mini frig was a wonderful item, as was the hairdryer. I would
gladly recommend the Hostal, especially if you want to be in the center
of Madrid.

Superb location in beautiful side-street within easy walking distance of all the major sights. It was lovely to feel that we were in the heart of Madrid. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us a warm welcome even though we arrived very late after a delayed flight. Room very comfortable. There was some noise on Friday and Saturday nights from people in the street but no traffic noise.
