  The hotel was just a 5 min top walking distance from the metro station in a quiet, with not many tourists, neighbourhood. (The city centre was about a 15min metro ride away). There is a bakery and a grocery shop just next to it and the supermarket was just a block away. The staff was really friendly and helpful to us. Overall, it is a great budget hotel aw - The hotel was excellent value for money. We had a little kitchen with fridge so we could prepare our own breakfast. The hotel is outside the main tourist area and the local people are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some great food in the area and I would recommend eating a plate of Iberico at the butcher's terrace. Barcelona itself was very easy to reach by subway, it goes directly to the Sagrada Familia. Overall a great place if you want to enjoy Barcelona but want to stay away from the

We arrived at the hotel very early and had the option to either have the room early - Staff were lovely always very helpful. Hotel is a in walk from the llacuna metro stop and it's about 10mins into las ramblas! The area itself is lovely right on la rambla poblenou which is full of bars and restaurants and leads down to the sea front from there it's a stroll to the Olympic port which has more bar clubs and restaurants we loved our stay and the location.   I liked a lot Barcelona.I is a great city .Hotel Everest was also a very good choice for our holiday .Staff were very friendly. It is really close to Sagrada Familia - 10 minutes walk -for real .Also SANT PAU metro station is nearby.There are very nice place to eat or to drink coffees nearby.Choose room 711 or others like this because has terrace... what people say » and you can smoke!!!At the entrace of the hotel there are two very nice italians at BUON and you can drink the best SANGRIA . In conclusion totally r - I like the location as a solo traveller it is away from the bustle of the centre, but close to La Sagrada Familia and Hospital de Sant Pau. On previous visits I have stayed in one of the apartments - very good. All the rooms are spotlessly clean, beds are comfortable. Big bathroom, again spotlessly clen.
