This family-run hotel is situated next to the Borne district and opposite the Ciudadela Park, approximately a 15 minute walk from Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas.
Renovated in 2006, the rooms are equipped with tv, air conditioning and free internet access. You can choose from a selection of rooms; from the more affordable interior rooms to exterior-facing rooms overlooking the park. There is also a restaurant that has been open for over 30 years and renowned for its rice dishes.
The Ciudadela Park is one of the city’s more attractive parks and popular with locals for a lazy afternoon and meeting friend and, in addition a number of events are held here. The area is great if you are looking to explore Barcelona on foot, public transport or bike. Just a few metres away you will find the Arc de Triumfo metro and train station and the Nord bus station.

We were pleasantly surprised with both the friendliness and cleanliness of the hotel. The location was convenient to the "Hop On - Hop Off" tourist bus. We would definitely stay here again.Room was very clean. Bathroom was decent size. Girl at front desk wasvery helpful and spoke English well. The whole experience was good. From the position, the staff, thefurnishings and the food.Location. Great location away from main tourist drag but only a short 5-10 min walk away from the Old Town. Very relaxing being located next to Ciutadella Park and with all the main areas of the city being within easy walking distance. Hotel is small and only has basic facilities, but very clean and tidy, and the a/c in our room after a very warm day was fantastic. The window of our room was facing a schaft inside the building so we didnot have any view. Brief view of the inside rooms as we checked-out gave us the impression of an inside room on a cruise ship - very small and not too sure if they had any windows.Water outlet in shower was slightly blocked, but it can be fixed. The noise of rolling down the shutters in the mornings was noticeable, but you can live with this ;D. Just a little bit noisy on the early morning when they open the restaurant at 7:00am , if you stay on the first floor....and stay late partying!!!!. Cockroaches but these were easily squasdhed and to be expceted in spain!. a little bit noisy from probably outside air-conditioning just behind the window, bad ventilation through windows, missing toilet-brush. We felt cigarettsmoke inside the room!. No hair dryer in the bathroom.no elevator, thankfully only one flight of stairs. I was in an interior room with very little natural light. The staff didn't speak much English, or rather didn't communicate much at all with us. The waiters were friendy, but it seemed the girls working there weren't trying very hard to be helpful.Three things we moaned about.....no bath, hairdrier or coffee/tea making facilities, and you know us British!! No complaints though. There was no telephone or fridge in the room. The "internal" room had no windows (but we were aware of it in advance). Our room was very small, we were 3 adults and the room was only for 2 with an extra bed.it didn`t have an window. It was a bit strange. The smell of cigars in my bedroom. No lift. Walls where thin you could hear everything anyone was doing in the halls and in the middle of the night we were awoke by a screaming baby down the hall it sounded as if they were in the room with us. Service at the hotel restaurant was not good. It was quite noisy.smelled cigaret smoke all night long (I dont smoke), I found out later that I had a false sense of security about safe because apparently every safe has the same key. But alls well that ends well. We were placed on the first floor. The smoke and noise from the bar carried up the stairs.
