  We stayed after beong at Benicassim festival so were very tired ! We were helped find the place by phone and were greated in a lovely way . The apartment was everything we wanted and in a great location had everything we needed and was near some lovely restaurants.

  The Alma Hotel is a perfect place to stay in Barcelona for the fist time. Because the location of the hotel is great, it is near two main streets Rambla and the shopping street Gracia.   The apartment is well located in the center of the city. It is within walking distance to many attractions or to the Metro. I especially liked the fact that we were able to take the Aeroporter bus to & from the airport for a very reasonable price. You can walk from the drop off & pick up location for the Aeroporter to the apartment.   This is probably the best hotel I ever stayed in. My friends and I got a really home away from home feeling. The apartments we booked were totally 5 star quality: clean, well-designed and quiet. Big flat screen tv showing many tv channels including CNN, BBC and Sony movie channel. The kitchen is complete and the bathroom is very modern and clean. We have a family of four (two teens) and had a terrible time finding a hotel or anything with appropriate bedding arrangements. No only did we have two very nice bedrooms, but it had a lovely kitchen and living area. A balcony overlooked the street. The building is nearly sound proof to the city traffic.
