The 'pension' is a delight. It is a small, family run enterprise in a back street, about four hundred yards from the main beach and eight hundred yards from the old town. It is spotlessly clean, recently refurbished and well run. The boss greets you on your arrival, sees to your very need and helps you with directions to a private, secure car park facility one hundred yards away. I would go back tomorrow - or whenever I next go to San Sebastián.

The accommodation was in an excellent location, very close to the beach, and walking distance to all of the sights of San Sebastian. The staff were extremely helpful. I was feeling unwell the day after we arrived, and the lady at the Pension directed us to a very good medical centre. We enjoyed our stay at the Zaragoza Plaza; this small hotel is well located (step away from La Concha beach and close to the old city), and in a quiet area just in front of the Zaragoza Plaza. We also appreciated that the staff at the front desk spoke French and English. - The hotel is mark as 1 star. but it is very good hotel. just what you need.

Nice, bright and clean room on the 5th floor, loved the little balcony facing the street. Quiet area, but still close to everything.
Joakina herself was very nice and welcoming, and so was her son. Some people have complained about her being around all time, but we only saw her on arrival and the day we left. We could come and go as we pleased. -

I liked the unique exposed beams and the stone in the room. I liked that they had ear plugs in the room for you in case it got too loud at night to sleep. But the noise is only from outside, you could not hear anything beside you or above you. Noise is not a factor in just this hotel, because the entire area is full of hotels and restaurants, so people are walking and talking throughout the streets. It is very centrally located and convenient.

This Pension was spotless and the staff was so friendly. The pension is on door step of some amazing food granted with this location there was some night street noise. Shared bathroom never an issue here as many bathrooms for bedrooms.

I stayed in a triple room with two other friends. The room was lovely. It is one of the few places I've stayed where the picture of the room looks exactly how it is. Perfect location. Really friendly staff. Shared bathroom was not a problem as it isnt shared by many rooms and we were all around at different times. Nice little balcony. It was quite noisy at night, but that would be the same anywhere in the old town.
