The pension was spotlessly clean. My room was stylish and modern which isn't always that case in Spain! The bed was really comfortable and there wasn't much noise from other rooms which was great. The 'pension' is a delight. It is a small, family run enterprise in a back street, about four hundred yards from the main beach and eight hundred yards from the old town. It is spotlessly clean, recently refurbished and well run. The boss greets you on your arrival, sees to your very need and helps you with directions to a private, secure car park facility one hundred yards away. I would go back tomorrow - or whenever I next go to San Sebastián.

The room was clean and comfortable. We had a balcony, which was great. The accommodation was in an excellent location, very close to the beach, and walking distance to all of the sights of San Sebastian. The staff were extremely helpful. I was feeling unwell the day after we arrived, and the lady at the Pension directed us to a very good medical centre. The staff also agreed to allow us to pick up our bags late in the evening (after we had checked out), due to us having to catch a late overnigh

Nice, bright and clean room on the 5th floor, loved the little balcony facing the street. Quiet area, but still close to everything.
Joakina herself was very nice and welcoming, and so was her son. Some people have complained about her being around all time, but we only saw her on arrival and the day we left. We could come and go as we pleased. -

I liked the unique exposed beams and the stone in the room. I liked that they had ear plugs in the room for you in case it got too loud at night to sleep. But the noise is only from outside, you could not hear anything beside you or above you. Noise is not a factor in just this hotel, because the entire area is full of hotels and restaurants, so people are walking and talking throughout the streets. It is very centrally located and convenient.

Couldn't possibly get a better location, right in the heart of the old city and within walking distance to everything. Staff are really friendly and gave us such a warm welcome and farewell. This Pension was spotless and the staff was so friendly. The pension is on door step of some amazing food granted with this location there was some night street noise. Shared bathroom never an issue here as many bathrooms for bedrooms.

Perfect location. Really friendly staff. Shared bathroom was not a problem as it isnt shared by many rooms and we were all around at different times. Nice little balcony. It was quite noisy at night, but that would be the same anywhere in the old town.

I stayed in a triple room with two other friends. The room was lovely. It is one of the few places I've stayed where the picture of the room looks exactly how it is.
