  Overall, we had a great vacation and we enjoyed our stay at Castro . the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to offer help and answer our questions, perfect place for families, the location is perfect near two metro stations, we loved it and I recommend this for families. - Great place!   Location excellent, plenty to do during the day, quiet at night in immediate vicinity of hotel- easy to get a good night's sleep. Literally 2 minutes walk to Las Ramblas- everything happening here..selection of restaurants,pubs and nightclubs. Spacious room with effective aircon system. Room cleaned daily. The rooms were very modern and well fitted out having plenty of space and the bathrooms were great. Staff were very polite and helpful. I did not use the bar or restaurant facilities so cannot comment on these but they looked good.

  Excellent location, quiet room. The room was very pleasant and so were the public areas of the hotel. The staff was very kind, efficient and helpful. The Airbus station is just few minutes away and since we traveled by air we enjoyed the cheap and efficient bus transportation. There are a number of restaurants nearby where you can eat decent breakf... what people say » ast if you want to skip the full hotel breakfast. - I have been staying in many 4-star hotels, because I used to travel a lot for my work. The Avenida Palace is one of the best 4-star hotels in which I have been staying: excellent location, good service, recently renovated room and bathroom, and almost no noise from the street, from the corridor or from other rooms.

  Hotel Bagues was everything we were hoping for. It was a stylish very chic looking hotel with an outstanding staff. The location was awesome right in the middle of Las Ramblas and steps to the Bari Gotic. I would highly recommend this location as the prices were very good as well. They upgraded our room and gave us a corner room with views on 2 sides of the hotel. The delay did give us a chance to - The staff are top-notch. Very few luxury hotels are able to balance friendliness with efficiency like Hotel Bagues. It's a rare gift to offer the experience they do for guests. The ambiance of the hotel is fantastic, too, and despite being on the La Rambla - with a room overlooking it - at night we could only hear the faintest of sounds. Luxuriously decorated, but cosy, the entire hotel is a really lovely experience.
