The bed was of really good quality, and the linen was also. Great to get into a comfy bed after the day in such a a great city. This place is amazing. Our room was very clean and functional. It is close to the downtown. Also extremely convenient that La Isla Hostal is a couple of blocks from Estacio Nord (bus station) and Estacio de França (railway station). Friendly and helpful stuff. In my opinion, it is an ideal choice for budget-minded travelers.

We were happily surprised. It is a low profile hotel. No grand entrance, but home like. The room was spacious, clean, newly styled, comfortable with a wonderful balcony view of the city. The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours. The neigherhood is safe and there is life going on up until 2:00 a.m., but it does not disturb the guests. We loved it. This hotel can accomodate those with who walk with a cane/walker. A really small business with only about 8 rooms. Really friendly staff, very welcoming and explained everything when we got there. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. The room had double glazed doors so there was hardly any street noise and the building itself is gorgeous! It was only three minutes from the metro station and only 15 minutes from the old town for these persons who love walking and 10 minutes from Sagrada Famiglia. It was very clean, they clean the room every day and they change towels every time that you ask for it. Perfect wi-fi in the room and the staff is the most polite and helpful we 've ever met. They gave us a map of the town with the most popular monuments and they adviced us for everything that we asked. There is a lift. Very safe streets

It was a basic hostel good for staying a couple of nights. It's not a luxury accomodation, but it's clean and the owners are very nice. I found the free Wi-Fi connection much better than in expensive hotels where I stayed before. -

Rosie, the lady who welcomed us and served our breakfast was very sweet, friendly and helpful. She couldn't speak English but used a translate app on her tablet which worked excellently well.
