I can strongly recommend this place to people who look for something cozy, stylish, not typical. You feel more like at home, not like in a hotel. There is a common space for the guests where you can sit around big table, drink high quality coffee (free of charge) and relax.

Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke very good English and put themselves out to help in any way they could. Tea and coffee facilities were excellent even though not located in individual rooms, with complementary fresh milk and bottled watered. Air conditioning. This is a quiet business hotel (althouogh we were tourists) located in the Gracia neighborhood. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was an ok size with comfortable beds and wifi. Hotel has a inside/outside lounge that was nice for relaxing after a day of sightseeing and before heading out to dinner. Optional breakfast is acceptable.

The location is great. It's close to the city centre and bus stops are within 5 minutes of walk.Metro station (Diagonal) is within 15 minutes of walk. There's also a supermarket next to the hotel so you can buy almost everything you need. Local fruits are cheap.
Overall it's a great value for the money we payed.

As has been mentioned elsewhere this is much better than a two star hotel. Though a bit away from the centre, it is easy to get to by public transport - just 5-10 mins on bus nos 16 or 17.
