I can strongly recommend this place to people who look for something cozy, stylish, not typical. You feel more like at home, not like in a hotel. There is a common space for the guests where you can sit around big table, drink high quality coffee (free of charge) and relax. The location is very good - walking distance to the city center, Sagrada Familia, very close to the train station and metro. The beach is 4 metro stops from there. Tea and coffee facilities were excellent even though not located in individual rooms, with complementary fresh milk and bottled watered. Air conditioning. A hotel with style located perfectly within easy reach of the old city, the shopping centre and the outer lying Gaudi cathedral and park. Although breakfast not available in the hotel, it was just across the road and was continent. Very nice vintage decor, comfortable and clean room and bathroom, friendly staff, near enough to some major sights (went to La Sagrada Familia and to La Rambla on foot), Metro station very near for more distant ones or if you don't want to walk. Train station for/from the airport also near to the b&b. Nice idea of outsourcing breakfast to the nearby bistros/coffee bars, also coffee & tea available in the b&b all day. I really liked this "hotel" because it is not really a hotel but feels more like home. An old original flat renovated into 7 rooms with foyer and kitchen. Really helpfull staff, free tee and coffee. Drink and croissant!. everything was great. breakfast was disappointing, the waiter was helpful but the waitress wasn't the person you'd wanna meet your mornings. not soundproof, clogging in the shower, the basin was really really small, room wasn't big enough for two luggages. Nothing - was a perfect stay!. The doors aren't soundproofed, so if you are near the lounge, you can hear people walking around/making espresso, etc. Nothing. Nothing.
