  The location was fantastic. It was very close to the El Born district & the Picasso Museum. There were plenty of little unique shops & restaurants in the area. Lots of different breads, juices, teas and coffees. Great value and just what you need before a days sightseeing. Our room was small but well planned, clean and comfortable.   The size of the single beds were brilliant. My friend and I shared a room for econemy reasons, so to find 3/4 beds made our stay more comfortable - convenient, modern, clean and had huge rooms. Very friendly staff

  My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city.
