  The family were absolutely charming and very helpful - as were all the staff . Location spectacular and peaceful - we had wonderful views of the mountains over the orange trees and couldn't see any of the surrounding houses . We had a very comfortable isolated room and bathroom a short walk from the main house, which suited us . Didn't regret not... what people say » hiring a car, with the hair-raising mountain roads, but it was about 20 minutes walk to the main bus stop, though only half that to the centre of the - Tranquil setting in orange grove, run by Raphael, Lourdes and their staff who love their home, farm and what they do - nothing was too much trouble - beautiful unspoilt natural environment, breakfast in the garden was prepared fresh with natural locally produced ingredients and delicious marmalade made from the oranges. All the facilities were good quality, no intrusive service but nothing lacking - perfect place to relax

  The location was ideal for a lazy day/eve in the port. The hotel is clean and functional for a short holiday. It was nice to sit on the outside terrace in the morning overlooking the harbour. The barman and reception staff were friendly and helpful.   We loved our stay at Hotel Miramar. Our Family Room represented excellent value for money: the children slept in a separate sleeping area that could be closed off from the very large main room with master bed, TV, sofa etc, so we could stay up later without keeping them awake. We didn't have a balcony, but the room layout more than compensated for... what people say » this and the hotel gave us drying racks so we could dry towels after a day at the beach, which is literally a stone's throw from the hotel. The room - Hotel Miramar is well situated towards the older part of Port de Soller and was very handy for the two small supermarkets just around the corner - very important for the budget conscious traveller! I had booked the cheapest possible room but was delighted to be given one with a sea view and balcony. The hotel is modern, well decorated, very clean and is managed by friendly staff.
