Each air-conditioned bedroom at Can Roses is bright and spacious. All of the rooms have free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a minibar and a safe. The hotel is 4 km from the marina and beaches of Port de Sóller. Only 8 km away is the lovely village of Deià, famous for being the home of many artists and writers. A Mediterranean buffet breakfast is included in the rate, and you can enjoy a drink in the bar or on the terrace. There are also Balinese-style loungers, where you can enjoy a massage. The property has a games room and library, ideal for relaxing. Bicycles can be rented from the reception.

Lovely gardens & pool with comfortable garden/pool furniture. Nice atmosphere especially in the evenings with candle-light around gardens and patios. Pleasant to sit around communal table with other guests for breakfast. Excellent location near the centre of Soller. Staff really helpful. Very well positioned for Soller, just off the main square and very quiet at night. A superb original property and gardens, unlike any big commercial hotel. Balcony room gave great views over the mountainside. Decor very individual and a great find.

This is really a beautiful hotel in the middle of Soller. The hotel has a large wonderful garden which is perfect for relaxing. Lack of pro activity in providing things. For the 350 euros per night charge, you would expect shampoos to be replenished, fresh orange juice at breakfast, plates that aren't nearly empty at breakfast, so that you aren't constantly asking for 'more tomatoes, please'; 'more olives, please'. (It you asked for anything, it was indeed provided). The communal loo downstairs smelt of drains, as did our friends'. The air-condition in our room (suit with private terrace) was quite noisy. hotel can roses need a policy of no ball games or diving onto airbeds in the water, the pool space is far to small, it could get dangerous. Our room overlooked the courtyard so it was a bit noisy when people were coming and going and music was playing in the bar. - Breakfast was average. - The more relaxed service and style of accommodation might not suite the 'large-hotel-chain-type' customer (we loved it though). If letsbookhotel.com lets you make the reservation with an amex. The hotel should take amex and not hide that fact in the fine print. The fact that this was our biggest problem should tell you how great of a hotel it is. Value for money - we paid Euro 240/night for the "suite" but the room had cheap furniture and the condition was not good (E.G. loose tiles in the bathroom). Nothing. Unable to use pool as far too cold, even thought weather warm. Air condition, is very noisy and in summer would not be effective enough. Slight smell in the bathroom. Lack of atmosphere at breakfast. Other guest were very quiet. Maybe playing some music would help. Lots of noisy children. The hotel was tired and poorly maintained. the furniture was a mixture of second hand items, curtains hung by a wire. The sound proofing was terrible. the gardens were covered in dog mess from the two resident dogs. Breakfast was basic not the quality expected for the price of the hotel.
