Excellent studio room in the heart of Bilbao - ours had a little balcony looking onto the lovely Old Town street. Clean, spacious, comfy bed, lots of natural light. Very short walk from metro and tram stops, as well as all the old town sites, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Guggenheim is a pleasant 30 min stroll along the river, and the Centro area is easily accessible by foot or the metro/tram. The wonderful staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - highly recommend!. all reviews »
Really lovely apartment run by wonderful staff who were very accommodating and gracious to us after a misunderstanding with payment. The owner even offered us umbrellas due to the rainy weather! Apartment is spacious, super clean and right in the heart of Old Town. It's also very close to the metro making it easily accessible by foot and public transport. I would definitely recommend Arriaga Suites!.
Excellent location in old part of town within easy walking distance to metro station, shops and restaurants. It was very convenient to have a suite with a microwave and small refrigerator during our stay in Bilbao. Very helpful, friendly manager who lives nearby.

Can be tricky to find in the dark - look out for the green sticker on the right-hand side of the door.
Painting and renovation work was being done in the building entrance, so we had to walk through a construction area when we arrived. It will be lovely when it's completed, but it was a bit of a nuisance.
The main entrance was quite dark & gloomy & had an unpleasant
smell although probably to be expected due to the fact it is in the
"old quarter".
Lack of fresh air. The two windows went out in a kind of backyard, so the air was not good.
The smell of tobacco from the previous occupant and the fact that both windows looked out onto a very gloomy courtyard so there was hardly any natural light.
The suites are on the first floor, with no lift, so I guess if you have mobility issues, this would be a problem.
No English language TV channels. A kettle would be really useful.
The additional sofa is not very confortable.
Just pitty that there are no windows on the side of the street.
