We liked the hotel Lleo has its location in Barcelona was brillant, 5 mins walk from airport bus and you arrive there. Hotel was spotlessly clean, staff helpful. Liked the electric beds and piped music in room and the swimming pool on the roof and the sunterrace was lovely. Would definately recommend to anyone going to Barcelona. I was very taken with it's thorough cleanliness,spacious, bright surroundings and comfort and it's proximity to amenities.Friendly and helpfull staff also a relaxed Dining atmostphere.We were very pleased with our choice of Hotel.

Great location.position when arriving from airport with suitcases. It wasn't a major problem and didn't keep us from sleeping but the sound of guests using the corridor was audible due mainly to the tile flooring.My room was on the first floor right beside the dining area so there was a lot of noise very early in the morning when the staff were getting breakfast ready...plates banging etc..Also the lifts were quite close so the noise from the doors opening and closing used to wake me up along with the noise from the road. Breakfast could have been better (better tea selection, fruits, cucumber and tomatoes, full corn muesli etc.). used internet access which was free, but no printing facility so we had to trudge around the streets to find an internet shop bar prices were rather high. I knewfrom the review thatasingle room wouldn't have real sunlight (just an inner courtyard) but itmeant it wasniceand quiet.Front rooms are directly onto street and very noisy. Very noisy from main road ( we had a room facing the front ) but ear-plugs were invaluable. lack of tea and coffee making services in room. The bathroom could do with being freshened up, perhaps.Internal room on second night. While the room was cheerfully decorated (with another great bathroom), it was very dark during the day and quite small. Fine for a one night stay. It was incredibly noisy. Even with double glazing, the noise from the street was significant. Also, tiled floors in corridors created extra noise. The personal safe in my room did not work (although I did not ask them to fix it). The quality of the buffet breakfast was average (hot food was only lukewarm).The walls are a bit thin and the doors seem to slam a bit. Bring some earplugs and you will be totally content. Soundproofing in rooms was not great, as I could hear the occupants nextdoor snoring.the water in the swimmingpool on the roof could be more warmer!!. Marble throughout made night activity noisy.The only down side was the view out of the bedroom window - we were at the back and looking onto some run-down flats. At breakfast, there weren't enough yogurts and the (sparse) fruit salad was tinned. Very difficult to find!. Bathroom a little dated. Slight misunderstanding with room at first but was sorted immediately and worked out better in the end.didn't like the shape of the room, was a lot of noise from the street, and i didn't like the TV - the english programms were poorely received and a bit wierd remote controll. also not enogh place to plug in my laptop or chargers. The hotel we found was just a little dated and could do with a refurb , but on the whole it was very good .our room was directly below the swimming pool area and there was a lot of noise early in the mornig (about 7am) by the staff. Quite noisy within the hotel from other guests and workers. Breakfast okay, but nothing special.breakfast expensive.
