The Ciutat Vella was perfect, The staff were friendly and very helpful, i especially like the fact that they have a fridge full of bottled water in reception and you can just help yourself, There is free internet and you can print off anything you require free of charge. The room was perfect, comfortable, air conditioned, lcd tv, and a Power shower which was great for waking you up in the morning.

Once i started washing with it i couldnt wash it off! almost like it was oily? maybe it was supposed to be like that but i didnt like it. The only thing is (and it´s not exactly problem of the hotel) noise from the streets in night. But if you want to stay in the centre of the city, you have to accept this.A bit more variety at breakfast would have been great, muesli for example - or cheese - but the coffee was great!. Our particular room shared an exterior wall with a neighboring nightclub that went on until very late one night of our stay. Very noisy - unavoidable - on a noisy road junction.Needs more shelving and drawers in the rooms. The thin walls, you can hear your neighbor some time.If being a bit critical.......first night had a problem with the air con. Seemed to leak a little overnight. But it was more comfortable without it on though. Not all the key cards we were given worked that well. The only thing which has to do more with the building than anything is the size of the room. Small but very comfortable.i had a room facing the patio and found it difficult to sleep as there was almost no air circulation. front rooms were noisey. The room smel of cigarettes- despite it being a non smoking room. walls are not very saound proof, could hear everything in the next room. breakfast was not so sexy and reception should have stamps for sale. no tea and coffee making facilities. many commented it is noisy, we stayed at a room not facing the street, very very quiet, but not airy enough. No refrigerator in the room, No toothbrush provided. View from our room was dingy neighbouring building. It would have been nice if the room had a mini bar and coffee maker.There is something wrong with the air-conditioner with strange noise from the fan. My room had a weird smell on the first day but the smell was gone the following day.No air conditioning in room. Wasn't expecting family room to have bunk beds for adults and children.Although our two children are aged 11 and 13 they were nervous aboutsleeping on the top bunks. The ladder rails up to the top bunks actuallyhurt my bare feet as I had to go on one of the top bunks!. except the cable (no program in english!) everything was great!. I didn't get enough information when I checked in, I had to find out everything myself. When you like to sleep till noon, you'll have trouble with the cleaning ladies making noise when they are cleaning the other rooms.The rooms walls i thing are very thin and you can hear the noise comming from other rooms or hall. Why did the price/night vary so much?. Room smelled too much of cleaning products, although this improved. Only one small window due to design of room.
